Well Completion EUR Diagram

Screening of plays using Scotia's proprietary RESWIZ software is an important part of the services we provide to our clients. To successfully identify drilling and recompletion opportunities the entire spacial, production, and historical setting of an oil/gas field must be understood. This is accomplished using diagrams such as the one on this page. The diagram shows:

  • The well locations (black dots) on a 1 mile grid-referenced surface (light blue)
  • Well identification number
  • Depth interval
  • Well path (black lines)
  • Perforated intervals (colored cylinders)
  • Economically ultimately recoverable volume (radius of cylinders)
  • Year of first production (color of cylinder)
  • The information used to make this type of diagram is acquired from public sources and requires minimal processing for preparation of the 3-D images. This allows the rapid examination of prospects or acquisitions to gain an invaluable understanding of the wells, producing interval, production, and history of a field.
